Month’s pack for a helpless Yemeni family is £50
Month’s family pack for Rohingya Refugees is £60
Month’s pack for poor families in Pakistan is £65
We are helping families in Yemen, Pakistan & Bangladesh (Rohingya Refugees).
There are 842 million undernourished people in the world today. That means one in eight people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life.
Hunger and malnutrition are in fact the number one risk to health worldwide — greater than AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.
Solving hunger lays the foundation for progress in many other areas of development, including health and education. Well-nourished women have healthier, heavier babies whose immune systems are stronger for life. A healthy, well-fed child is also more likely to attend school.
To date we have distributed 28,409 ration packs to over 9,400 families
Pakistan has witnessed a dramatic increase in inflation and the severe rise in prices of basic commodities means that low-income families are unable to afford basic foods like milk and bread.
To help those who cannot afford food in these desperate times, Ehsaas launched the ‘Food Support Programme’ and to date we have distributed 28,409 ration packs to over 9,400 families.
However, over 10,000 are still awaiting your generous support. With your help, our plan is to expand the ration point outlets nationwide.
